Q: How do I know what scale is right for me?
A: Simply measure from the saddle of your bridge, to the nut. Our strings fall into 3 categories;
STANDARD - for scale lengths of 34" to 35" - this is the most common scale length.
Q: Can I use your strings on a 'thru-body' bridge?
A: No. Our strings have a shorter taper and do not work on 'thru-body' basses.
Q: How long will it take for my strings to arrive?
A: That depends on the method of shipping you selected upon check out. Orders are processed daily, and usually go out the following business day (orders received on Friday are shipped on the following Monday) but the turnaround time is usually 24 hours. If you have 'express' needs, please contact customer service and lets us know, and if it is possible we will get your order out the day it is received. (disclaimer: orders are picked up by local services at varying times during the day, we cannot guarentee when these services will occur)
Q: Do you ship outside of the USA?
A: Yes we ship anywhere that USPS, UPS, or Federal Express will deliver. We recommend that you check with your local offices to determine which service is best for your area.
Q: I live in the EU and my order took a litltle longer to arrive, can you explain why?
A: Our current automated shipping application does not support international shipments as of this time, so all orders bound for outside of the United States are manually processed and hand delivered to the Post Office. This usually adds 48 hours to the shipping process.
Q: I did not receive any confirmation email for my order. How can i get tracking information?
A: This is a technical problem we are currently trying to resolve. Confirmation emails should be received within a few minutes of completing your order. Until we get this fixed, please feel free to shoot an email to customer service with your order number and we will provide you with the necessary information.
Q: I ordered the wrong length string, can I return them for an exchange?
A: We want to emphasize that we do not do exchanges or refunds for incorrect purchases, however when we do see an order come in that looks "suspicious" (i.e. ordering a set of Long scale strings) we will confirm the order via email before we ship out the strings. We want to do everything possible to ensure our customers get the correct strings for their needs, the first time. We also recommend the everyone read the "Before You Buy" section before placing their order, this way you can review the length, and tensions charts and get the most our of your purchase.
